Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in Lithuania, Part I

The Republic of Lithuania, which held a presidential election on Sunday, May 11, 2014 returns to the polls for a presidential runoff vote and European Parliament elections on Sunday, May 25, 2014.

May 22-25, 2014 European election results will be available here. Lithuania's Central Electoral Commission will also have European election results for the Baltic nation, as well presidential runoff election results in both Lithuanian and English.

The election statistics presented in this space come from reports issued by the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Lithuania.

The voter turnout rate was 52.9% for the first round (1,370,014 voters out of 2,588,418 electors), and 35.9% for the second round (875,681 voters out of 2,438,641 electors). No runoff election was held in the constituency of Zarasai-Visaginas (No. 52), where the outcome of the first round was declared invalid.
